Some Nortel products are potentially affected by the vulnerabilities addressed in MS07-029. This bulletin provides a multi-product consolidated response for the Nortel products which contain a Microsoft software component potentially affected by MS07-029. MS07-029 addresses the following potential vulnerability: 1) DNS RPC Management Vulnerability - CVE-2007-1748: A remote code execution vulnerability exists in the Domain Name System (DNS) Server Service in all supported server versions of Windows that could allow an attacker who successfully exploited this vulnerability to take complete control of the affected system.
